Meet Trish
Trish works with adults experiencing life transitions, perfectionism, people-pleasing, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties. She supports clients navigating challenges such as breakups, divorce, career changes, job loss, and difficulties setting boundaries.
Life changes and the pressure to meet our own or others' expectations can leave us feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of ourselves. Trish offers a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, better understand themselves, and feel comfortable being who they are.
Trish believes that building a strong therapeutic relationship is an important part of meaningful change. Her approach is collaborative, client-centred, and strengths-based, helping clients recognize their strengths, develop greater self-confidence, establish healthier boundaries, and navigate life's challenges with more resilience.
Trish holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Guelph and a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
Trish offers Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and also draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches. She works alongside clients to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies that support their emotional well-being.
